Take time to really think and make yourself a list of what you are grateful for. This list does not have to be long or complicated but it should be from the heart. A list that can be changed when needed, a list of gratefulness that should be carried all year long.
Regardless of what is going on in our lives, we all have people, experiences and even stuff that we can give thanks for. Being grateful is like a smile, a compliment or a simple thank you, it is easy to give, receive and even share as a pumpkin smoothie.
So make your list and check it twice, you will be grateful you did.

Melody Beattie wrote: "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. It can turn an existence into a real life, and disconnected situations into important and beneficial lessons. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." |
