Wisdom Tidbits 5 Steps to Develop Self-Confidence 1. Believe in yourself 2. Use positive self-talk and visualization. See yourself taking that step, doing that task or finishing that project. 3. Give up the words “I can’t” replace with “I can or better yet I will” 4. Ignore what others think of you, be yourself, dance to your own tune, remember that you are unique. 5. Journal – A journal allows us to put our feeling to paper but we should learn to limit the daily woe is me. Think of your Journal as a Victory Log. Write down your daily successes, big or small just keep this positive list going. This will help propel your self-confidence and help you to follow your own road. |
